The journey's protagonist : Part 1 - Amatsu Mikaboshi
Hello, my name is Dave, I am a navigator and engineer of time and space. Today, I'm going to tell you about one of the main characters of the "Amatsu" saga started in "The Journey part 1 & 2"... Amatsu Mikaboshi is not a formal invention, the character of our conceptual Space-Opera Rock is inspired by different aspects of this mythical and mythological character. This character goes Back to Early Japanese History.

Amatsu Mikaboshi is the god of evil, chaos and stars in Japanese mythology. He is not a true Amatsu-Kami, but aprimordial being who ruled alone over the original void before the arrival of the creator gods Izanagi and Izanami. Furious at their intrusion, he attempted to overthrow them, but was defeated and locked up in Yomi, the realm of the dead. Under the influence of Chinese Buddhism, he was identified with Myōken, the god of the North Star or Venus, and then merged with Ama-no-mi-naka-nushi, the god of all stars and the lord of the central sky. In some versions, it was born from the blood of Kagutsuchi, the fire god who burned Izanami to death. He is mentioned briefly in the Nihon Shoki as having been subdued by Takemikazuchi during the conquest of the land of Izumo.

Another of his names is Ama-no – Kaga-seo, the Shining Man or the Scarecrow of Heaven. In comics. In popular culture, he appears as a fictional character in American comics published by Marvel Comics. He is usually depicted as a supervillain and demonic god who is the enemy of Hercules and Thor. It is based on the Mikaboshi of Japanese mythology. He first appeared in Thor: Blood Oath #6 (February 2006), and was adapted from the mythology by Michael Oeming and Scott Kolins. He then appeared in Ares #1-5 (March–July 2006), and The Incredible Hercules #117–120 (May–August 2008).In this incarnation, he is called the Chaos King, and he seeks to destroy all creation by absorbing and enslaving everything he encounters in his primordial void. He has a vast array of mystical and demonic powers, such as strength, speed, invulnerability, immortality, metamorphosis, theft, creating shadow copies, the ability to traverse dimensions instantly, telepathy, teleportation, manipulation of matter, energy, size, and soul, and resurrection. He faces off against Marvel's heroes several times, most notably during the secret invasion of the Skrulls, where he joins the team of gods assembled by Hercules to fight the invaders' alien gods. He proves to be an unreliable and opportunistic ally, who takes advantage of the chaos to increase his power. In Manga/Anime. In another incarnation, he appears as the star god who offered two stellar-demonic swords of light and shadow, Zanseiken and Bakuseiken, to Earth in Nara, Japan, later the two swords wielded by the qilin daiyōkai Kirinmaru, who rules the eastern lands, and his daughter Rion, in Yashahime's episode "The Girl Named Rion": Princess Half-Demon . He is also known as the god of chaos who is loyal to the sinister comet and its true form: the sinister butterfly. In the episode "The Collapse of the Windmill of Time", Sesshōmaru's mother mentions that the Zanseiken is Amatsumikaboshi's sword that her granddaughter Towa wields while they fight Meidomaru. In the episode "Father and Daughter", after Setsuna breaks the red thread of fate between Rion and Kirinmaru for their death, the two swords have merged to become Amatsumikaboshi's sword as their souls are sent inside and she is sent back to heaven as the sinister butterfly is destroyed. In this incarnation, he appears as a benevolent and generous god, who gave his swords to Earth to protect humans and yōkai from evil. He is linked by a common thread of fate to Kirinmaru, whom he loves as his own son, and to Rion, whom he considers his granddaughter. He is also the guardian of the cycle of life and death, and He ensures that souls find peace in His celestial kingdom.Amatsu Mikaboshi is therefore a complex and ambiguous god, who can be seen as an enemy or an ally, a destroyer or a creator, an evil or a good, depending on the perspectives and circumstances. He is the embodiment of chaos, but also of the stars, which can be sources of light or darkness. Amatsu Mikaboshi is therefore more than an evil deity, but a chaotic being of great power with dark designs, where nothing is really what it seems. Ambiguous, erratic, and chaotic. I hope that this information extracted from your Universe will shed light on some aspects already expressed, or to come, of this character during the story we are telling.
Happy reading.
Dave
